Teatro Comunale Regina Margherita, Via Amelindo Mori 20, Marcialla
Organised by Associazione Culturale Marcialla
The Teatro Comunale Regina Margherita in Marcialla, at Via Amelindo Mori 20, hosts on Saturday 7 November 2026 at 21:30 the show "Il passaggio di San Francesco", written and performed by Francesco Mattonai for the company Altre Storie. It is a live account of the preaching journeys of Saint Francis, which took him as far as the Middle East, in an attempt to outline his human profile rather than the hagiographic figure. The narration intertwines with the history of the Val d'Elsa and its most dramatic moments, and relies on the word and presence on stage. An evening of narrative theatre in a small village theatre. The event is part of the "Teatro a Km0" festival and is organised by the Associazione Culturale Marcialla with the contribution of the Comune di Barberino Tavarnelle.
