The exhibition dedicated to the myth of Persephone is set up in the Cupola di San Michele Arcangelo in Semifonte, in Barberino Tavarnelle, from 15 November to 20 December 2026. The itinerary brings together archaeology, myth and Tuscan rural traditions: a tactile reproduction of an Etruscan urn and artistic photographs of the rural landscape place the ancient story alongside the products of the land, with tastings from local producers. The programme also includes walks and guided tours, among them the Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini in Vico d'Elsa, the historic oil mills of Petrognano and the Fattoria Pasolini dall'Onda Borghese in Barberino Val d'Elsa. The initiative is part of the project Terre di Semifonte, sapori e tradizione in terra di Toscana, and is promoted by the Associazione Pro Loco Barberino Val d'Elsa and Gruppo Archeologico Achu APS, with the patronage of the Comune di Barberino Tavarnelle. The opening is on Sunday 15 November at 16:00.
