Nicola Polizzi presents his novel "Qualche volta le nuvole sembrano isole" in Bibbona on Saturday 7 November at 6 pm at the Comune Vecchio. The book tells the story of Marilia, an industrial town facing the sea, where Elisa, a dreamy and introverted seventeen-year-old, lives with her mother Marta, who faces life with lightness. One Saturday evening the two are shaken by sudden events and, although bound by love, they are unable to help each other. Around them other stories intertwine: a former convict involved in illicit dealings, a young bully who shouts out his own vulnerability, a policeman disappointed by life on the outskirts, an invisible immigrant, a social worker and an exhausted teacher. While the adults cling to their fragile identities, the young search for their island on the horizon.
