The Redemption of Nature: photography exhibition by Stefano Cerio at mudaC
mudaC - Museo delle Arti di Carrara, Via Canal del Rio 1, 54033 Carrara MS
The project The Redemption of Nature by photographer Stefano Cerio, curated by Angela Madesani, was selected by the Municipality of Carrara under the Strategia Fotografia 2025 call of the Ministry of Culture. The work documents ecological resilience and the regeneration of nature after the fires that hit the Mediterranean, a theme addressed through photography and video. The exhibition at mudaC presents 10 fine art photographs already owned by the Municipality, two works by the artist, and a video projection gathering the results of his research. After the temporary exhibition, the entire project will become part of the museum's permanent collection.
The exhibition is held at mudaC - Museo delle Arti di Carrara, Via Canal del Rio 1, 54033 Carrara MS. Period: from 9 September 2026 to 11 January 2027. Opening: 11 September 2026 at 6:00 PM. Hours (summer period, to be verified for the following months): Tuesday to Sunday 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday 6:00-10:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 9:30 AM-12:30 PM.
