The Municipality of Castel San Niccolò organizes the Summer Camps 2026 for children and teenagers, with educational and recreational activities in July, August and September. The program includes a ceramics workshop organized by the Pro Loco Strada in Casentino APS, to learn clay working techniques, and educational outings at the Azienda Agricola Fattoria FiammaSole, with meetings with animals, recognition of aromatic herbs, manual activities and moments of free play in nature. A pizza evening and overnight stay at the farm are also included.

From August 8 to October 30, 2026, the Casentino region hosts 'FRANCESCO', the traveling exhibition by Luciano Schifano featuring works inspired by the Canticle of the Creatures. The opening is on August 8 at 6:00 PM at the Archivio Comunale di Strada in Casentino in Castel San Niccolò; the exhibition then moves to other venues, including Stia and the Museo della pietra lavorata. Part of the celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, the exhibition offers a meeting between contemporary painting, spirituality, and nature.
