60th Anniversary of the Castelfiorentino Flood
Castelfiorentino
Organised by Associazione La Stanza Rossa
Castelfiorentino commemorates the 60th anniversary of the flood of 4 November 1966 with a programme of initiatives taking place from 4 to 15 November 2026. The initiative is promoted by the Associazione La Stanza Rossa to keep alive the memory of one of the most difficult moments in the town's history. Among the confirmed events is an exhibition of 60 previously unpublished photographs by Jaures Baldeschi, sixty years after the disaster. The initiatives are part of a broader project, with moments of remembrance and reflection dedicated to those days.
