Second Festival of the Balze del Valdarno

The Festival of the Balze del Valdarno returns for its second edition. The event, organized in collaboration with the municipalities of Castelfranco Piandiscò and Terranuova Bracciolini, offers a rich program of excursions, concerts, theater, and social gatherings spread across the territories of the two municipalities. The summer calendar touches various locations: July 24 in Montemarciano with street games, dinner, and folk dances; July 29 in Persignano with a sunset walk on the Sentiero delle Balze and a classical music concert; August 2 a panoramic walk meeting at the Pieve di Santa Maria a Scò; August 5 in Piantravigne an excursion with experts from the Museo Paleontologico di Montevarchi and an evening theater performance; August 30 the Balze Trail Run. The closing is on September 5 and 6 in the locality of Le Riguzze Botriolo. An opportunity to discover the evocative Balze del Valdarno, the landscape that inspired Leonardo da Vinci.
Mezzeria 2026

L'iniziativa "Mezzeria 2026" si terrà a Castelfranco di Sopra, in via Molino dei Noci, dal 26 agosto al 2 settembre 2026. Organizzata dall'A.S.D. MCL Castelfranco, la manifestazione ha finalità socio-ricreative e culturali, con il patrocinio del Comune di Castelfranco Piandiscò.
XXIV Memorial Paolo Batignani – XXIX Memorial Natalino Crini

Domenica 30 agosto 2026, la frazione di Faella sarà attraversata dalla gara ciclistica "XXIV Memorial Paolo Batignani – XXIX Memorial Natalino Crini", organizzata dall'A.S.D. Società Sportiva AQUILA di Ponte a Ema (Firenze). La competizione, con partenza e arrivo a Donnini (Reggello, FI), percorrerà alcune strade del centro abitato di Faella, dove è prevista una sospensione temporanea della circolazione veicolare dalle ore 15:30 alle 16:15 circa.
