Summer activities at the La Marroneta sports area

The Pro Loco of Vivo d'Orcia organizes a rich program of summer activities at the municipal sports area La Marroneta. Tennis courses, sports tournaments, outdoor motor activities and fitness are planned, as well as recreational initiatives for all ages. The area is equipped with a multi-purpose tennis/five-a-side football court and an outdoor gym.

The photo exhibition "I Luoghi di Santa Caterina" collects the shots from the homonymous photo contest, promoted by the Municipality of Castiglione d'Orcia. The images tell the story of the places of Saint Catherine in the area, blending history, art, spirituality and landscape. Opened on Saturday 8 August 2026 at 6:00 PM, the exhibition is set up at the Torre di Tentennano and will remain open until 30 September 2026.
