A red bench is being installed in the parking area next to the Church of Mugnana, a hamlet of Greve in Chianti, as a concrete sign of the commitment against violence against women. The inauguration is scheduled for 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 22, 2026. The initiative is part of the calendar of events that the Municipality dedicates to the theme in November, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. On the same day, the restyling of the bench in Panzano and the installation in piazza Matteotti in Greve in Chianti are also planned. The red bench of Mugnana is organized by the Municipality of Greve in Chianti and remains in the village as a symbol even after the inauguration day.
