From July 11 to October 11, 2026, the Archaeological Museum of Magliano in Tuscany hosts the exhibition "Il Piombo di Magliano. Nel labirinto della lingua etrusca". The exhibition brings back for the first time to its place of origin the famous Etruscan artifact, a lead disc with spiral inscriptions, usually kept at the National Archaeological Museum of Florence. Dated to the mid-5th century BC, it is the fifth longest known Etruscan inscription and records a series of rites dedicated to the deities of the Underworld. Explanatory panels and multimedia materials guide the visitor through the labyrinth of the Etruscan language, offering a unique opportunity to deepen the Etruscan civilization right at the site where the artifact was found.
