The Municipality of Monteriggioni, with ordinance no. 70 of 03/08/2026, has ordered the temporary closure of the parking lot along S.P. 74, at Km 0.900, in the town center of Abbadia Isola, for the entire duration of the summer/autumn events 2026. The no-transit and no-parking order with forced removal will be in effect from August 10 to November 11, 2026, to allow the holding of events organized by the Charity Association A.B.B.I. Residents and visitors are invited to pay attention to the signage and use alternative parking nearby.

Il Comune di Monteriggioni aderisce alla XXXIV edizione di "Puliamo il Mondo", la storica campagna nazionale di volontariato ambientale organizzata da Legambiente. L'iniziativa, in programma dal 18 al 20 settembre 2026, coinvolge cittadini, scuole e associazioni nella pulizia e riqualificazione di aree pubbliche del territorio comunale, con l'obiettivo di promuovere la cura dell'ambiente e la cittadinanza attiva.
