From 30 October to 1 November 2026, Piancastagnaio celebrates once again with the Crastatone, the oldest chestnut festival in the mountains, now in its 59th edition. Three days among the streets of the historic centre with local specialities, contrada activities and live music. The opening is scheduled at 6.30 pm in the streets of the historic centre, while at 9 pm "Francesco Ottocento" takes the stage at the Teatro Comunale Ricci Barbini.
