Cristoforo Roncalli: Four hundred years later, a new perspective
Teatro dei Coraggiosi
Organised by Pro Loco Pomarance
From 23 to 24 October 2026, the Teatro dei Coraggiosi in Pomarance hosts the conference 'Cristoforo Roncalli: Four hundred years later, a new perspective', dedicated to the artist known as il Pomarancio four centuries after his death. Curated by Chiara Violini, the event brings together scholars to reinterpret Roncalli's work and his role in painting between the 16th and 17th centuries. Special attention is given to Roncalli's contribution to the training of other painters who have marked art history. The second day, Saturday 24, concludes with a round table, offering the public an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the local artistic heritage.
