As part of the celebrations for National Unity and Armed Forces Day, the Municipality of Pontassieve is promoting the meeting 'From war to peace', dedicated to the words of the soldiers of the Great War and the way they described the enemy. The event is the presentation of the essay 'Uomini come noi. Il nemico nelle scritture dei soldati italiani (1915-18)' by Francesco Cutolo, which analyses memoirs and testimonies from the front.
