Livorno Music Festival: Sinfonia Eroica
Pontedera (PI)
On September 4, the Auditorium of the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera hosts "Sinfonia Eroica", an event of the Livorno Music Festival 2026. On stage, pianists Davide Cabassi and Louis Lortie present a program that transforms famous symphonic and chamber works into the virtuosic form of two pianos, eight hands. The evening opens with Beethoven's Leonora Overture No. 3 in the transcription by Gustav Rösler, culminating in the Symphony No. 3 "Eroica" reworked by Theodor Kirchner. A rare opportunity to hear these masterpieces in a spectacular guise, within a space that combines music, creativity and Italian ingenuity.
