Settimana dell'Albero
Piazze e giardini scolastici del territorio comunale
Organised by Comune di Rosignano Marittimo
From 16 to 21 November 2026, Rosignano Marittimo dedicates six days to trees, in conjunction with the National Tree Day. The events take place in the morning in the squares and school gardens of the municipal area and involve students and teachers from local schools. During the week, seven new plants are planted, including five specimens of Paulownia tomentosa donated by the circular nursery of Scapigliato, a species known for its ability to purify the air and absorb CO2. The meetings also serve to talk about the local tree heritage and its role in combating climate change. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo.
