Le nonne squillo
Piccolo Teatro di Rufina
Organised by Comune di Rufina
On Sunday 8 November 2026, at 4:30 pm, the Piccolo Teatro di Rufina hosts 'Le nonne squillo', the second event of the Rufinateatro 2026/27 season. The comedy is by Dory Cei, with adaptation and direction by Alessia Giraldi, and is staged by the Compagnia Teatrale Il Pontormo. On the death of Countess Furlì, owner of a villa in Settignano once used as a brothel, the inheritance passes to five sprightly grandmothers united by a noble passion: the protection of animals. The five women plan to turn the villa into a shelter for dogs, cats and birds, but an unfortunate advertising campaign reawakens memories of the past. The Piccolo Teatro season, organised by the Comune di Rufina, features nine shows of different genres between autumn and spring.
