The exhibition brings back for the first time to its place of origin the famous Etruscan artifact, a lead disc with spiral inscriptions, usually kept at the National Archaeological Museum of Florence. Dated to the mid-5th century BC, it is the fifth longest known Etruscan inscription and records a series of rites dedicated to the deities of the Underworld. Explanatory panels and multimedia materials guide the visitor through the labyrinth of the Etruscan language, offering a unique opportunity to deepen the Etruscan civilization right at the site where the artifact was found.
