Remember Joseph Beuys
Magazzini della Corticella, Santa Maria della Scala, Siena
The exhibition 'Remember Joseph Beuys', set up in the Magazzini della Corticella of Santa Maria della Scala, retraces the last fifteen years of the German artist's life, spent largely in Italy. The exhibition path dedicates ample space to the 'Difesa della Natura' core, which illustrates his ecological vision inextricably linked to the human being. Projects such as the Plantagione Paradise in Bolognano, the planting of 7,000 endangered trees, participation in the Green movement and the Free International University (F.I.U.), founded to promote free education and direct democracy, are explored in depth.
