Cattedrali del Lavoro: Le Forni di Montemartino e Poggigliani di Sinalunga
Centro Commerciale I Gelsi, Sinalunga
The cultural association Astrolabio brings to the gallery of the I Gelsi shopping center a photographic exhibition dedicated to the ancient kilns of Montemartino and Poggigliani, two examples of industrial archaeology that have marked the productive history of Sinalunga. The exhibition, titled 'Cattedrali del Lavoro', tells through the shots the majesty of these buildings and their role in the economic and social fabric of the area, restoring dignity to places that were nerve centers of local manufacturing activity. The initiative is part of the program of the Fiera alla Pieve and offers food for thought on industrial heritage as a cultural asset to be rediscovered.
