On Thursday 5 November at 5.30 pm, the Biblioteca Comunale E. Balducci in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, Piazza Matteotti 4, hosts the presentation of the book "Il Sopravvissuto" (publisher Shatter). On stage will be Natale Mele, the only survivor of the first double murder attributed to the Mostro di Firenze, and the author Nico Parente, who has collected his testimony. That night in 1968, in the countryside of Signa, Natalino Mele was six years and eight months old. He escaped the attack and since then has lived with a justice system that, from his point of view, has never fully restored truth and dignity to the memory of his mother, killed before his eyes. The meeting is promoted by the Comune di Barberino Tavarnelle and is part of the "Bibliopiù Autunno" series. Lorenzo Tombelli, Natale Mele's lawyer, will also speak.
