Broken. Il potere del frammento
Biblioteca Comunale di Borgo San Lorenzo
Organised by Comune di Borgo San Lorenzo
On Thursday 12 November 2026, at 5:30 pm, the Biblioteca Comunale di Borgo San Lorenzo hosts a meeting with Martino Margheri dedicated to the exhibition "Broken. Il potere del frammento", on display at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence from 25 September 2026 to 24 January 2027. The meeting traces the way art has looked at fracture and the fragment: from ancient Egypt to Michelangelo, from classical Greece to Rodin, up to the protagonists of contemporary art. A key to observing well-known works from a different perspective and reflecting on what is missing and on the value of broken parts. The initiative is promoted by the Comune di Borgo San Lorenzo with the Biblioteca Comunale. Admission is free.
