The Municipality of Certaldo celebrates on 4 November the Day of the Armed Forces and the National Unity Day, on the 108th anniversary of the end of the First World War. The day is dedicated to the memory of the victims of all wars and of those who gave their lives for freedom, independence, democracy and solidarity. The celebration is organised by the Municipality of Certaldo with the participation of the Istituto Comprensivo di Certaldo and recalls the values enshrined in the Italian Constitution as the foundation of civil coexistence. The programme begins at 9 in Piazza Boccaccio, continues at 10 in Piazza della Libertà and closes at 11 in Fiano. All citizens are invited to participate.
