Cinepista
Volterra (PI)
From July to September 2026, Cinepista returns, the outdoor film festival organized by the Associazione Le Ginestre in the Parco Pubblico del Bastione of Volterra, also known as La Pista. Two screenings a month and two extra events enliven the summer evenings with films of various genres, in a equipped green area perfect for enjoying the big screen under the stars. The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality of Volterra, is a staple of the Volterra summer, designed for residents and tourists.

The Trivia APS Association will shoot the short film "Horror Vacui" in the municipality of Castelfiorentino. The project has received free patronage from the municipality and will take place in September 2026.

From 14 to 27 September 2026, the Sala ex Leopoldine in Piazza Tasso hosts the film series "Sentiero Film Factory 2026", organized by the Cultural Association Sentiero Film ETS. The film festival is free and open to all citizens, offering a selection of screenings and meetings dedicated to the world of independent cinema.

Titanus Production Srl will film the movie with the working title "Cats e/o Pfoten vom Tisch" at the Spiagge Bianche di Rosignano Solvay. The film set, which will simulate a Caribbean beach, will be set up with wooden gazebos and will involve about 50 people including crew and actors. The shooting will last about 4 working days, to be carried out in a window between September 15 and October 15, 2026.

The Municipality of Livorno has authorized the filming of the medium-length film "David parla coi muri (ed i muri rispondono)", dedicated to the figure of the artist Zeb. Filming will take place from 15 to 30 September 2026 in numerous city locations, including via Amerigo Vespucci, Terrazza Mascagni, the Ponticello di San Giovanni Nepomuceno, the back of Palazzo del Municipio, via dei Pescatori, the Mercato Centrale, the Lungomare, via delle Pianacce, via Giovanni XXIII, piazza della Repubblica, via Salvatore Orlando, via Uffizio dei Grandi, piazza Porta San Marco, Fortezza Nuova, piazza Italo Piccini, piazza del Cisternone, piazza del Pamiglione, il Romito, the Funicolare di Montenero and the panoramic area of Montenero.
Film Screening "Coyote vs Acme"

The Cinema Teatro Amiata hosts the screening of the film "Coyote vs Acme", a comedy blending live action and animation inspired by the famous Looney Tunes character. Directed by Dave Green, the film follows the legal misadventures of Wile E. Coyote after he sues Acme Corporation for its defective products. An event for film enthusiasts and for those who want to rediscover the classic humor of Warner Bros animation in a new guise. The screening is part of the autumn program of the cinema in Abbadia San Salvatore.
