The sacred music series Anima Mundi returns to Pisa for the 2026 edition, from September 8 to October 2, under the artistic direction of Trevor Pinnock. Seven evening concerts (9:00 PM) in the Cathedral and the Camposanto Monumentale, with orchestras, choirs, and internationally renowned soloists. This year's program revolves around the theme of peace and ranges from romantic masterpieces by Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Haydn to contemporary works, including Mussorgsky and Rachmaninoff. Highlights include the presence of John Eliot Gardiner, Lucas Debargue, Simone Cristicchi with Amara, the Estonian National Male Choir, and Pinnock himself conducting the German Requiem. Before the concerts on September 8 and October 2, at 8:00 PM, the Leaning Tower hosts a brief musical moment with brass and percussion, a prologue introducing the evening.

The Festa della Birra 2026 takes place at the old sports field of Pratovecchio, called Kauzen Stadium, in Via Circonvallazione 35/A. The event is divided into two periods: from 17 to 20 September and from 25 to 27 September 2026, with musical entertainment and food and drink service. On the busiest evenings (18, 19, 25 and 26 September) the music continues until 02:30 the following morning, to ensure a safe exit for participants. For safety reasons, the sale, service and introduction of beverages in glass or tin containers is prohibited inside the event area and in the surrounding areas on the event evenings.
