From late June to October, the riverboat Andrea da Pontedera returns to sail the Arno with a full calendar of free excursions. Live music, animated readings, meetings and guided tours accompany the navigation to discover the river and the river landscape from an unusual point of view. The programme is designed for all ages: a small fleet of events that mix nature and culture, mainly departing from the Approdo Canottieri in via Bologna. Access is free but places are limited: each trip can host up to 50 people, so booking is mandatory.
Fuori Tracciato | Esplorazioni sentimentali
Prato (PO)
The CUT Circuito Urbano Temporaneo Association proposes "Fuori Tracciato | Esplorazioni sentimentali", an urban exploration path that invites you to rediscover city spaces through sensory and artistic experiences. The initiative runs until September in various locations in Prato, with particular attention to urban regeneration and participation. Among the events, the incursion into the Ex Cantiere del Macrolotto Zero stands out, scheduled for October 10 and 11, which extends the initiative beyond the summer period. The project is supported by the Municipality of Prato as part of "Estate a Prato 2026".
Weekly walks between countryside and village
Casale Marittimo (PI)
Every week, a guided walk of about 4 km between the countryside and the village of Casale Marittimo, lasting 2 hours. The initiative, promoted by the Municipality, combines naturalistic-environmental and historical-cultural education, offering participants the opportunity to appreciate the characteristics of the territory and enhance local typical products.
Puliamo il Mondo 2026
Lucca (LU)
The Municipality of Lucca joins the 34th edition of "Puliamo il Mondo", the largest environmental volunteering initiative in Italy, promoted by Legambiente APS. The event includes a day of territorial cleaning, with particular attention to the Serchio river, in collaboration with the Northern Apennines District River Basin Authority. The exact date will be communicated later, within the period from September 19 to December 31, 2026.
