3 events82nd Anniversary of the Liberation of Calcinaia
Calcinaia (PI)
The Municipality of Calcinaia celebrates the 82nd anniversary of the Liberation with a welcome ceremony for newly of-age citizens, during which the Constitution will be handed out and students who achieved top marks in their final exams will be awarded. A photographic exhibition created by the young people who took part in the trip to the extermination camps will be set up, to stimulate reflection on the values of freedom and democracy. The day will end with a small refreshment.

Poggibonsi (SI)
The Fondazione ANT Italia ONLUS organizes a fundraising campaign in support of cancer research, with a stand at Via Pertini corner Via della Repubblica in Poggibonsi. The initiative takes place on several days: September 10 and 26, October 8 and 31, November 1 and 8, 2026, from 08:00 to 20:00. ANT is one of the largest Italian non-profit organizations committed to free home-based oncological care.

Portoferraio (LI)
The Municipality of Portoferraio, as lead body of the Zonal Conference for Education and Instruction of the Elba area, organizes a public event for the inauguration of the 2026/2027 school year. The initiative aims to present the results achieved with the P.E.Z. funds, highlighting the involvement of the many subjects committed to achieving the objectives set by the call. The event is open to all those interested in the projects and educational activities of the territory, to strengthen the relationship between institutions, students, families, associations and other entities.
