On the occasion of the bicentenary of Carlo Collodi's birth, the Museo della Città di Livorno hosts the exhibition “Pinocchio. Le avventure visive di un burattino”, from November 1, 2026 to January 10, 2027. The exhibition path explores the link between Collodi and Livorno, the artistic evolution of the puppet, the historical illustrations from 1883 by Enrico Mazzanti and those of contemporary masters. Also on display are unpublished works by young artists from the Scuola di fumetto e illustrazione of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara. An opportunity to rediscover the character through different eras and styles.
