From July 18 to November 29, 2026, the Sala dei Sindaci of the Town Hall of Pontremoli hosts the exhibition 'San Francesco tutto serafico in ardore, omaggio di Pontremoli al patrono d'Italia tra luce e visione', created on the occasion of the eighth centenary of the saint's death. The exhibition presents two masterpieces from the Museo di Capodimonte: the 'San Francesco' by Annibale Carracci and 'San Francesco riceve le Stimmate' by Gherardo delle Notti. A rare opportunity to admire works of intense spiritual power in Pontremoli, in a journey that combines art and devotion.

The XX edition of Medievalis brings Pontremoli back to the year 1226 with historical reenactments, shows, and costume parades. For five days, from August 19 to 23, the Castello del Piagnaro and the historic center host scenes of medieval life, ancient crafts, and period music. Organized by the Compagnia del Piagnaro, the event celebrates its twentieth anniversary with a special edition.
