ScenaRio is the 2026-2027 theatre season of Teatro Garibaldi in Rio nell'Elba: ten free-admission events from 6 November to 16 April, including theatre, opera, operetta and shows for children. The opening is entrusted to "Odissea", a lecture-performance conceived, directed and performed by Gianluigi Tosto, who returns to the stage on 19 March with "Iliade". The programme alternates "Sillabe de... I Poeti del Mare", "Invito all'operetta", "Sillabe di... Otello", "Suor Angelica", "We Are Women" and, in closing, "Caravaggio" by Errico Liguori. Two special events: "Incanto Disney" on 20 December and the evening of 31 December with "Le Muse" at the Sagrato della Chiesa di San Giacomo, countdown and midnight toast. The series is organised by the Comune di Rio with artistic direction by maestro Mario Menicagli. Before each show there is the possibility of an aperitif at the theatre.
