Trekking Urbano returns to Siena for its 23rd edition, on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The guided route of about 2.5 km winds through the historic center following the traces of the Franciscan presence, on the occasion of the eighth centenary of the death of Saint Francis. The walk starts from Piazza del Campo, where the preaching of Saint Bernardino is recalled, continues to discover works of art such as Saint Francis and Saint Louis by Lippo Memmi, and crosses the Basilica of San Francesco with the frescoes by the Lorenzetti.
